Standard with the BX50 series, the Komatsu Operator Presence System (KOPS) Plus sets a new standard in safety.
It automatically locks out lift, lower, tilt, and travel functions if the operator leaves the seat for more than three seconds, ensuring a secure working environment. Additionally, the forks are immobilized from lowering when the key is turned off, further enhancing safety protocols during operation.
Designed for effortless maneuverability, the fully hydrostatic power steering (FHPS) system in the BX50 ensures smooth steering even at slow speeds while eliminating kickback for enhanced control.
A standard small-diameter steering wheel enhances precision, and is complemented by a spinner knob for convenient one-handed control, further optimizing the operator’s experience.
The Komatsu Komfort Zone features a dual floating design: dampening mounts safeguard the frame against engine vibrations, while supplementary mounts separate operators from the frame. Additionally, a sealed floorboard serves to diminish engine noise and heat.
BX50 series forklifts feature a full floating drive train. High torque delivered by powerful engines is channeled through a heat dissipating aluminum transmission case and a rugged dust- and leak-resistant, double-seal U-joint design.
