Given Informa Markets’ position as the global leader in the events industry, it was imperative that the available space was optimized to support their dynamic warehouse operations, both now and well into the future. To meet these needs, our team developed an efficient layout that maximized storage capacity and enhanced inventory access.
In the project’s first phase, we installed a selective racking system with 6,000 pallet positions that can be used to store palletized goods as well as production carts, event furniture, display booths and other trade show equipment. This large scale system features spacious aisles and impressive 31 ft high pallet racks that fully utilize
the building’s vertical space.
As the project progresses, our team will be adding 20 dock levelers, rack safety equipment, and a two-story
modular office to enhance the overall functionality, safety, and efficiency of the facility.
Here’s an inside look:
By utilizing 31 ft tall uprights (equivalent to a 3-story building) our team maximized the available vertical space, allowing
for both wide aisles and efficient use of the existing space for storage.

Integrated cross aisles (often referred to as “tunnels”) run through a row of racking or underneath elevated rack structures – allowing clients to retain valuable storage space while improving productivity. This allows equipment and personnel to move between aisles or reach different areas of the warehouse without detouring around the entire racking system, enhancing traffic flow and operational efficiency.

End of Aisle rack protectors provide robust protection against accidents and property damage caused by forklifts and other lift equipment.

Row spacers provide enhanced stability by connecting back-to-back pallet racks, preventing tipping and reducing sway, which is essential for safety in high-density storage. They also help maintain consistent aisle widths and even load distribution, prolonging rack lifespan and optimizing warehouse organization.
